Koyuk is another small Alaskan area that covers 4.7 square miles. It is located on the northern bank of the Koyuk River. Although it appeared on the 1930 census, it was not incorporated until 1970.

There are approximately 350 people residing here, though this number is not confirmed. Most residents who live here are male, but many of the residents are around 18 years old according to the latest census in 2010. Residents are also predominately Native Americans who speak primarily English.
